The Tony Stramella Band is a high-energy blues-rock band. The Baltimore-based group has performed at the first Guinness Brewery in the U.S.; the Ram’s Head Tavern, Savage Mills; Ram’s Head Road House, Stevensville; Mother’s Peninsula Grille, and corporate events. The versatile set list features songs by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, and memorable originals. The band’s namesake, Tony is lead guitarist, with 40 years of experience. He was a top 10 finalist in Guitar Center’s best blues guitarist competition, playing at the historic Mint club in LA alongside blues great Joe Bonamassa. Tony’s brother Paul Stramella, an Army vet and stage manager at Wolf Trap, is the band’s bass player. Accomplished drummer Dennis Bartko rounds out the rhythm section. Phenom female vocalist “G” combines fresh energy with soulful blues.
